Product description

Solid teak frame. Handwoven rattan. Indoor & outdoor.

The Vega pairs a solid teak wood frame with a handwoven rattan seat and backrest, creating a low-profile lounge chair that feels both relaxed and refined. It's perfect for morning coffee, a reading corner or extra seating, and it goes together with easy assembly.

The open woven texture adds an airy, organic look, while the teak frame provides a strong, warm foundation. It suits coastal, boho, Scandinavian, farmhouse and modern spaces alike.

Use it on a patio, porch or balcony, in a sunroom or entryway, or as an accent seat in the living room or bedroom. Style it with cushions or a throw for an even cozier feel.

A note on color: teak is a natural wood, so grain and tone vary from piece to piece. Left unoiled outdoors, teak gradually weathers to a silver-gray; oiling keeps its warm honey tone longer.

REAL INDONESIAN TEAK, LEGALLY SOURCED

We work with genuine teak from Indonesia, harvested from government-regulated plantations grown for furniture use. No shortcuts, no mystery wood, just authentic teak you can trust.

Legal Wood, Always

Every piece is made from teak with legal-origin documentation under Indonesia’s SVLK timber legality system, so you know exactly where your furniture comes from.

SOLID WOOD, NOT VENEER

Each bench is built from solid teak boards with real wood joinery. No particle board, no veneer, no plastic parts pretending to be wood.

MADE FOR WATER

Teak’s natural oils help it resist water, mold and rot, which is why it has been used on boats and in saunas for generations. Rinse, let it dry, and oil every 2 to 3 months.

Style That Lasts

Clean, simple lines that look at home in a spa bathroom, a bedroom or an entryway. With basic care, teak keeps its character for years.

CARE TIPS

Rinse after use and let it air dry. Wash with mild soap and a soft brush every few weeks, and apply a thin coat of teak oil every 2 to 3 months. Avoid bleach and harsh cleaners. For cutting boards and butcher blocks, use food-safe mineral oil instead of teak oil.

FAQs

What makes TeakCraft furniture different?

TeakCraft pieces are made from legally sourced Indonesian teak from government-regulated plantations. Our wood is naturally water-resistant, durable, and selected for long-term indoor and outdoor use. We focus on clean, modern design with an eco-conscious sourcing process.

Is your teak really sustainable and legal?

Yes. We only use teak that is legally harvested and approved for export under Indonesian law. Our wood suppliers follow replanting programs and are trees are replanted and forests stay healthy.

Can I use your furniture in the shower or bathroom?

Yes. Our shower benches and caddies are made specifically for wet, humid environments. The slatted design allows water to drain, and teak’s natural resistance to moisture makes it ideal for bathroom sand spa areas.

How do I care for my teak furniture?

For everyday care, simply: Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or pressure washers. For outdoor pieces, you can lightly sand and apply teak oil or sealer if you want to maintain the original color .

We recommend a quick clean 4–6 times a year depending on exposure.

What is your return policy?

If you’re not completely satisfied, you can return eligible items within 30 days of delivery in their original condition and packaging. Custom or heavily used items may not be eligible.

Please see our Returns page for full details.

Will the color of the teak change over time?

Yes. Teak naturally ages. Outdoors without oil: it will gradually turn a silver-grey. Indoors or oiled: it will keep a warmer honey tone longer. This color change does not affect the strength or quality of the wood.
