Handmade by master artisans from solid Indonesian teak, the Saga is a 16-inch corner shower bench shaped to tuck into the corner where two walls meet, using space that usually goes empty. It arrives fully assembled, ready the moment it's unboxed.
Its open shelf adds storage for bottles and lets damp towels dry with good airflow. Unlike plastic stools that look clinical or softwoods that drink up moisture, teak's natural oils repel water, resisting mold, rot and warping for years of use in even the wettest bathroom.
Each bench holds up to 350 pounds, with adjustable non-slip rubber feet that keep it level on sloped shower floors. It's a natural spot to rest a foot while shaving, and it works just as well as a small corner seat in the bathroom or on the patio.
Every Saga is quality-checked twice: once at our workshop in Indonesia, and again here in the U.S. before it ships to you.
A note on color: each piece is finished with a hand-applied warm brown stain over solid teak. Because teak is a natural wood with its own grain, the exact shade and pattern vary slightly from piece to piece. That variation is part of the character, not a flaw.

Rinse after use and let it air dry. Wash with mild soap and a soft brush every few weeks, and apply a thin coat of teak oil every 2 to 3 months. Avoid bleach and harsh cleaners. For cutting boards and butcher blocks, use food-safe mineral oil instead of teak oil.

TeakCraft pieces are made from legally sourced Indonesian teak from government-regulated plantations. Our wood is naturally water-resistant, durable, and selected for long-term indoor and outdoor use. We focus on clean, modern design with an eco-conscious sourcing process.
Is your teak really sustainable and legal?
Yes. We only use teak that is legally harvested and approved for export under Indonesian law. Our wood suppliers follow replanting programs and are trees are replanted and forests stay healthy.
Can I use your furniture in the shower or bathroom?
Yes. Our shower benches and caddies are made specifically for wet, humid environments. The slatted design allows water to drain, and teak’s natural resistance to moisture makes it ideal for bathroom sand spa areas.
How do I care for my teak furniture?
For everyday care, simply: Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or pressure washers. For outdoor pieces, you can lightly sand and apply teak oil or sealer if you want to maintain the original color .
We recommend a quick clean 4–6 times a year depending on exposure.
What is your return policy?
If you’re not completely satisfied, you can return eligible items within 30 days of delivery in their original condition and packaging. Custom or heavily used items may not be eligible.

Will the color of the teak change over time?
Yes. Teak naturally ages. Outdoors without oil: it will gradually turn a silver-grey. Indoors or oiled: it will keep a warmer honey tone longer. This color change does not affect the strength or quality of the wood.
