Teak Outdoor Furniture Made for Real Weather

Teak is the wood boat builders have trusted for centuries. Its tight grain and high natural oil content help it shrug off rain, humidity and sun, so it stays strong season after season without the peeling paint of softwoods or the fading of plastic. Our outdoor seating is handmade from solid Indonesian teak, built to live on a patio, porch, balcony or deck.

Furniture for every outdoor space

  • Patio dining: the Teak Folding Bistro Set pairs two arm chairs with a folding table, or build your own with the Classic Folding Arm Chairs and the 27.5" Dag table.
  • Small balconies and boats: every folding piece folds flat, so you can open it for morning coffee and tuck it away when you need the room.
  • Covered porches and sunrooms: the Lyra loveseat, the Vega lounge bench and the Iraz and Ediz lounge chairs combine a teak frame with handwoven rattan for a relaxed, resort look.
  • Garden and entry seating: the 39.5" Capella bench works by the front door, along a garden path or at an outdoor table.

Natural honey tone or silver patina

Teak changes color outdoors, and you get to choose how it ages. Left alone, it slowly weathers to a soft silver-gray patina that many people love. If you prefer the warm honey color, clean the wood and apply teak oil once or twice a season. Either way, the wood stays strong.

Seasonal care tips

  • Brush off leaves and rinse away pollen or dirt with mild soapy water.
  • Let furniture dry fully after heavy rain before covering it.
  • Fold and store folding pieces in a dry place over winter to keep them looking their best.
  • Keep rattan pieces under a roof or indoors, out of direct rain.

Frequently asked questions

Is teak good for outdoor furniture?

Yes. Teak is one of the most weather-resistant woods available, which is why it is used for decks, boats and outdoor furniture.

Will my teak furniture turn gray?

Unoiled teak gradually turns silver-gray outdoors. It's a natural surface change, not damage, and teak oil can keep or restore the warm tone.

Can I use this furniture indoors too?

Absolutely. Every piece looks just as good in a dining room, sunroom, entryway or bedroom.
