Handmade by master artisans from solid Indonesian teak, the Hermod brings the calm of a spa to your daily routine — and arrives fully assembled, ready the moment it's unboxed.
Unlike plastic stools that look clinical or softwoods that drink up moisture, teak's natural oils repel water — resisting mold, rot and warping for years of use in even the wettest bathroom. The gently curved seat is shaped for comfort, while the slatted lower shelf keeps towels and toiletries close and lets air flow freely.
Each bench holds up to 350 pounds on solid joinery and stainless steel screws, with non-slip rubber feet that grip wet tile and adjust independently for sloped floors. Steady underfoot, beautiful in the room — at home in the shower, the bedroom, the entryway, or out on the patio.

A note on color: each bench is finished with a hand-applied stain over solid teak. Because teak is a natural wood with its own grain and tone, the exact shade and pattern vary slightly from piece to piece — no two are ever identical. That natural variation is part of the character, not a flaw, and means your bench is truly one of a kind.

What makes TeakCraft furniture different?
TeakCraft pieces are made from legally sourced Indonesian teak from government-regulated plantations. Our wood is naturally water-resistant, durable, and selected for long-term indoor and outdoor use. We focus on clean, modern design with an eco-conscious sourcing process.
Is your teak really sustainable and legal?
Yes. We only use teak that is legally harvested and approved for export under Indonesian law. Our wood suppliers follow replanting programs and are trees are replanted and forests stay healthy.
Can I use your furniture in the shower or bathroom?
Yes. Our shower benches and caddies are made specifically for wet, humid environments. The slatted design allows water to drain, and teak’s natural resistance to moisture makes it ideal for bathroom sand spa areas.
How do I care for my teak furniture?
For everyday care, simply: Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or pressure washers. For outdoor pieces, you can lightly sand and apply teak oil or sealer if you want to maintain the original color .
We recommend a quick clean 4–6 times a year depending on exposure.
What is your return policy?
If you’re not completely satisfied, you can return eligible items within 30 days of delivery in their original condition and packaging. Custom or heavily used items may not be eligible.

Will the color of the teak change over time?
Yes. Teak naturally ages. Outdoors without oil: it will gradually turn a silver-grey. Indoors or oiled: it will keep a warmer honey tone longer. This color change does not affect the strength or quality of the wood.
